The Shaker Pines Lake Association owns multiple properties, listed below, both on and off the lake, and is responsible for their maintenance and upkeep.    

BRIDGES ROAD:

5 Bridges Road – Memorial Lot is an earthen dam.  This lot has many picnic tables and great for picnicking and fishing only.  To protect the dam from erosion, there are no dogs, swimming or boat launching allowed at this lot. 

COTTAGE ROAD: 

2 Cottage Road – Vacant Lot Entry into Shaker Pines Lake area

35 Cottage Road – Spillway – which is managed by both Property and Ecology Committees.

45 Cottage Road – Sandy Beach –The Lower Sandy Beach has sand added as needed at the beginning of the swimming season for all to enjoy.  Picnic benches are available for relaxing and picnicking.  Animals are not allowed on the sand for the health and safety of children who play in it.  Boat launching on this beach is limited to certain times of the season for the safety of those enjoying the beach. 

121 Cottage Road – Upper Beach – The Upper Beach has a picnic bench area and beach great for pets wanting to swim.  Boat launching can be done at this beach, however, using a four-wheel drive vehicle is recommended due to the slope of the shore.

106 Cottage Road –  Vacant Lot

Our Association beaches are private and for the use of Association members and their guests only.  All guests must  be accompanied by an Association member.  

SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK, THERE ARE NO LIFE GUARDS ON DUTY ON ANY BEACHES.

Privately owned beaches:

WHEELER DRIVE: The property owners on Bridges Road, Coslin Road, Hasmar Road and portions of Jondot Drive and back lot property owners on Wheeler Drive additionally have the right of way to the beach on Wheeler Drive.  This beach is not Association property. 

WEST SHORE DRIVE: Forty-two backlot property owners on West Shore Drive privately and jointly own the beach on West Shore Drive.  This beach is not Association property and is for the use of those owners only.
